About Us

Mark and his famly relocated from southern California in 2003 to their organic hobby farm in Vernon County, Wisconsin where they tend to a small apple orchard, rows of asparagus and red raspberries. After managing the Egg Production Program for Organic Valley for 8 years, Mark decided to open up his own consulting business and work independently.

With over 35 years of experience managing food production facilities in ice cream, pet food, cheese, sparkling water, and candies, Mark’s familiarity with a wide range of processes and equipment allow him to learn a new operation’s strengths and shortfalls in order to recommend improvements. The last 20 years, he has spent the majority of his focus working in the specialty egg market, on both the farm side and plant side of the business. He enjoys spending time visiting family farms and helping determine their best step forward to either diversify, become more efficient, or to build their own brand of farm products.

This past year, Mark has had success writing grants and obtaining funding in the logging and sawmill industry from the USDA and US Forest Service.
